B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with 60% marks and Chemistry as principal subject OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 60% marks.
Asst. Maintenance Technician (Instrument) Grade - R07
10(ST - 1, OBC - 2)
Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks OR Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 60% marks AND 1 year process instrumentation course passed from Advanced Training Institute.
Asst. Maintenance Technician (Electrical) Grade - R07
8(SC - 1, OBC - 2, OH- 1)
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks OR Licentiate in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks.
Asst. Maintenance Technician (Mechanical- Rotary) Grade - R07
9(SC - 1, OBC - 2, OH - 1)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks OR Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks.
Asst. Laboratory Analyst Grade - R07
4(ST – 2, OH - 1)

Asst. Boiler Technician Grade - R07
25(SC - 4, ST - 2, OBC - 6)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks OR Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks OR B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with 60% marks AND certificate in Boiler Proficiency / Boiler Attendant.

Maximum Age Limit : 25 years (as on 31st May, 2008).
Scale Of Pay & Allowances : Salary Scale of Rs.5,315 - Rs.13,535, plus VDA, CCA, HRA, Transport Reimbursement etc as applicable

After online submission of application, take print of application form, affix recent passport size colour photograph and forward the same by ordinary post so as to reach Sr. Manager-HR, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Mumbai Refinery, P.O. Box. No. 18820, B.D. Patil Marg, Mahul, Mumbai-400074 with in a weeks time from the last date of submission of application, super scribing the envelop with “POST APPLIED FOR _____” in block letters. HPCL shall not be responsible for any postal delay / loss in transit.
Steps For Applying :
Step I : Login to http://www.hindustanpetroleum.comStep II : Read all the instructions before applying.Step III : Fill in the online form with all the relevant details. Candidates appearing in their Final Year Examination by May/June 2008 have to tick in the appropriate box provided for the purpose.Step IV : Separate on-line application forms have been setup for each category of post/position. Eligible candidates desire to apply should select appropriate application .Step V : Click SUBMIT: Take a print of the application form and attach Demand Draft and forward the same by ordinary post to the address provided aboveStep VI : Do not attach certificates / mark sheets etc., along with application form (except Demand Draft). All the details given in the online form will be treated as final and no changes will be entertained at a later date.
Furnishing of wrong / false information will lead to disqualification of candidature and HPCL will not be responsible for any of the consequences thereof. Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC category are required to send non-refundable demand draft for Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only) in favour of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, payable at Mumbai alongwith the application. Candidate should write his name and application number on the reverse of DD. Court of jurisdiction for any dispute is at Mumbai.
