Minimum Qualification :(1) For the post of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Civil/ Computer Science/Information Technology) : Engg./Tech. Degree/AMIE in Mechanical/ Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Computer Science/Information Technology from any recognized University/Institution. In case of Electrical Engineering the other degree "Electrical & Electronics"/"Electrical Instrumentation" will be considered at par of Electrical. be considered equivalent to Mechanical. In case of Electronics Engineering, “Electronics & Telecommunication”/ “Electronics & Instrumentation” will also be considered at par of Electronics.
(2) For the post of Programmer : Engg./Tech. Degree in IT/Computer Science/MCA (Recognised by AICTE) from the recognized University/Institutions.
(3) For the post of Junior Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Civil/ Computer Science/Information Technology): Engineering Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics / Civil / Computer Science/Information Technology from the recognized Technical Board/Institute. In case of Electrical Engineering, the other degree "Electrical & Electronics"/ “Electrical Instrumentation” will be considered at par of Electrical. Similarly in case of Mechanical Engineering, the degree of “Production Engineering” will also be considered equivalent to Mechanical. In case of Electronics Engineering, “Electronics & Telecommunication”/ “Electronics & Instrumentation” will also be considered at par of Electronics.
Age Limits (As on 01-04-08):Minimum Age limit: 18 years for all posts.Maximum Age limit:(a) Assistant Engineer/Programmer: 30 years for candidates other than Chhattisgarh State Domicile. The maximum age limit for candidates of Chhattisgarh State Domicile shall be 35 years.
(b) Junior Engineer: The candidates of Chhattisgarh domicile only are eligible to apply for the post of Junior Engineer. The maximum age limit for Chhattisgarh Domicile shall be 35 years.
How to apply : The application in the format with non-refundable D.D. amounting to Rs.300/- in favour of "Accounts Officer(CAU), CSEB, Raipur" payable at Raipur should reach to Addl.Secretary, CSEB, Dangania, Raipur - PIN - 492 013 positively by 20.05.2008. The candidates should write their name and complete mailing address on reverse side of D.D. alongwith the post applied for. Envelope should be clearly superscribed as "Application for the post of A.E. /Programmer/J.E.", if applying for more than one post, separate application form in separate envelope shall require to submit for each post. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category of CG state are exempted from application fee of Rs.300/-. Application received after due date shall not be considered under any circumstances and CSEB will not be responsible for any postal delay. Incomplete applications/applications not in prescribed format / without photograph/without requisite D.D./without copy of qualifying examination final year mark sheet /without permanent caste certificate & without caste verification by High Power Committee shall be rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained. Application for more than one post in one application form shall be outrightly rejected.
